SCA 220 UNIVERSAL ROOF

The design of the pop-up roof matches the silhouette of the vehicle. An integrated GRP roof spoiler guarantees the optimum optical and aerodynamic connection to the vehicle. It can be painted in the same colour as the vehicle as an optional extra by request. The roof can be raised easily and quickly thanks to two scissor lifts and four pneumatic cylinders.The SCA 220’s recliner can be folded up when the roof is up. This increases the standing height in the vehicle by up to 80 centimetres – an incredible plus for freedom of movement!

The centrepiece of the sleeper roof is a long-life GRP roof shell that is manufactured using a vacuum expansion method – a sandwich design with hard foam insulation. This is a new feature in this product area. The inside of the roof is lined with a soft crushed velour to create a pleasant atmosphere. This construction is lightweight and at the same time very strong. It offers excellent thermal insulation and soundproofing.

 

 

The SCA 220 is equipped with a light aluminium slatted frame, the disc springs of which ensure a comfortable place to lay down and good air circulation. The 130 centimeter wide and 200 centimeter long mattress ensures relaxed sleep on the go. Thanks to the 45 centimeter high scissor lifts, you can sleep with your head in both directions – or enjoy the view. The window in the fabric bellows has an insert made of clear plastic in the direction of travel to the right. This way, even in bad weather, light comes into the interior. The windows on the left and front are provided with fly screens, this last window can be opened with a zip for ventilation and as an emergency exit. All windows can be completely darkened.

The high-quality fabric bellows made from flame-retardant fabric has three windows. The windows on the left in the direction of travel and in the front are fitted with insect screens. Special extra: the window at the front can be fully opened for a free view. The window on the right has a transparent plastic insert. A practical folding mechanism automatically pulls the fabric bellows inwards when the roof shell is closed – without the bellows getting trapped between the bodywork and the roof
